- PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility
A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be emailed to participants deemed competent at the conclusion of the course.

Course outcomes include
This course provides participants with the competency to confine small workplace emergencies.
Covers the range of emergencies and workplaces as considered by AS3745 Planning for emergencies in facilities and AS4083 Planning for emergencies – Health care facilities.
- Prepare for emergency situations
- Identify and assess the emergencies
- Safely confine emergencies where possible
- Use initial response equipment
- Report facility emergency response
This unit does not cover the competency required for first aid.
