- HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely
A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment will be emailed to participants deemed competent at the conclusion of the course.
Course outcomes include
This unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to recognise potentially hazardous manual tasks, and then prepare and complete those tasks in a safe manner.
This unit applies to all workers involved in manual handling tasks.
Performance tasks include:
- Identify manual task involving risk
- Undertake risk assessment and complete risk assessment form
- Prepare for the manual task
- Safely complete the manual task
